Skeeter is a wonderful little guy whose elderly owner passed away. The spouse of the owner could no longer care for him so he turned him into the pound. Poor little guy, lost his beloved owner, then his home. So many sad stories, and his is just one.
Skeet's foster mom owns a 7 year old TFT herself, so couldn't let this little guy suffer. Skeeter is 8 but looks and acts younger. If you know the breed, that is typical and they can often live up to 17 years with proper care.
Skeet is a bit timid until he gets to know you, then he's your shadow. He is extremely well-behaved, and minds well - quite the gentleman! He'd be a wonderful lap companion for someone who is home most of the time.
Skeet would do well with kids over 12, but no younger kids please.
Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test and preventative, wormings, and all other medical care needed to ensure a healthy dog. Fees vary, based on the care required, age and needs of the animal. We rely strictly on our adoption fees since we don't receive any outside funding.
